This site covers about 50 acres on the outskirts of the historic Town of Market Bosworth, Warwickshire.

Predominantly a water sports centre with two lakes, one of which is huge, it caters for young and mature, sailors, surfers, canoeists and fisherman.

For those of us not so energetic who just want to watch and laze about it’s ideal but gets very busy during the summer, the park is open to the general public as well as offering space for caravans, motor homes and tents with some 70 hook ups available.

On site there is ample space for outdoor games for the family to enjoy, cricket, football etc. There is a footpath around the huge lake and parking for numerous cars, where in the right conditions barbecue’s seem to be the order of the day, none of these activities cause any concern to the camping areas.

There’s a permanent adventure playground for the youngsters as well as visiting bouncy castles and other mobile entertainment.

There’s also a small shop and cafeteria, the showers and toilet facilities for the camping fields are well maintained and clean, these are for the sole use of the campers and has key coded entry.

If you’re feeling energetic and don’t have the appropriate equipment it can all be hired at the main office, if you’re also a novice there are instructors at hand to set you straight.

Youngsters are always encouraged to have a go and the lake is well supervised by experienced staff.

If you want a trip out, Market Bosworth is a pretty place with a few shops and a couple of really nice pubs to sit and have lunch or an evening meal, be a little cautious they still believe in medieval portions that will no doubt destroy any thoughts of loosing a few pounds whilst relaxing on a short break. After lunch you may wish to walk it of so where better than the historic battle fields where Henry Tudor, the Lancastrian defeated Richard III the Yorkist on 22nd of August 1485. Paving the way for the Tudors to take control of England and Henry Tudor being crowned King Henry VII.

There is also the Bosworth Steam Railway, Snibson Discovery Park and Twycross Zoo all within a short distance and for those who want a shopping trip, the city of Leicester is about a 30 minute drive, with its famous Market and busy City Centre it should cater for most of your needs.

All in all, a very clean, tidy and pleasant site. Well worth a visit.
