About Us
BCCA has a passion and an ambition to provide funding, at local level, to help in community projects for the benefit of the whole community.
BCCA has been formed and will develop as a ‘not for profit association’.
We are unique in our method of operation and the most exciting association to be launched for decades.
What’s exciting about it?, the officers of the company will be responsible for generating profits in addition to your membership fee, and the members will be responsible for spending them.
Our policy and ambition is to support local communities, through a network of Focus Groups, to meet environmental, conservation and community issues head on by funding projects from our profits, funds directly to the community.
We believe this is the way forward to reversing the current trend of environmental deterioration, the task will not be easy and there is no short term fix. Local communities know what’s right for their community, they have more experience of environmental and local issues than we do, so who better to decide where the money is spent.
We will encourage our youth members to get involved in community projects, projects they feel are important to there own generation, projects that will allow them to develop their own views on environmental issues and community needs and most important the responsibility to find the solution.
Our youth members are important to the association, they are important as the future generation, and encouragement to succeed in their projects will be a priority for the Focus Group Leaders.
We will be pursuing a policy of offering increased benefits to association members by negotiations with all types of businesses from financial institutions to camping accessories.
To succeed, that’s about you, we need your passion and enthusiasm, as members, to provide the link between BCCA and local communities, and to spend our profits wisely.
We need volunteer Focus Group Leaders all over the UK, if you feel that your enthusiasm and organisation skills will benefit your community, then contact us for a discussion, we need your help to succeed.
